The Annette Presley Dream Foundation is more than a cause — it’s Annette’s legacy. A gift to her two children, and a promise to young women across New Zealand: your dreams matter, and you are never alone in making them happen.

Annette Presley is a trailblazer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who has never been afraid to challenge the status quo. She got her start selling computers in the early days of the tech boom, before founding and growing a successful IT recruitment business—which she later sold. From there, she broke new ground in telecommunications, co-founding Slingshot and building a multimillion-dollar company in an industry where women were rarely seen at the top.

Throughout her career, Annette has championed bold thinking, big dreams, and backing yourself—even when the odds are stacked against you. She’s stood up for what matters, used her voice to spark change, and consistently lifted others as she climbed—especially women and girls across New Zealand.

Today, Annette is focused on creating lasting impact through the Annette Presley Dream Foundation—her most personal and purposeful venture yet. Through this work, she is committed to helping young women unlock their potential, step into their power, and create a future that not only transforms their own lives, but shapes a stronger, fairer world for everyone.

This is about sending the elevator back down to lift others up and give a helping hand to other young women to build more, to create more and to become their best selves.

Annette grew up in South Auckland with gangs and friends addicted to drugs and many friends with multi-generational benefit families having children to obtain benefit after benefit to live their lives.

She had a guardian angel, her grandmother, who saw the good in her and lifted her up to help her become her best self and this is what she seeks for others. We will achieve this through supporting causes that support this mission and through a targeting scholarship program in South Auckland.
